My name is J.S. Choi. This will be my first image I've posted thus far on this account. I hope you grow to enjoy my work as I try to improve with each bit after as a illustrator striving to always learn more. I hope you like this image to some extent.

About the piece: This is a piece I did early in the year(2009) for a project at my other grad school, SCAD. The theme had something to do with world records and I stretched the idea with the quirky novel of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I could imagine the characters having a mad contest of sorts to see who was the tallest and if they lost in this area-- Well, the next would be to try and be the smallest; cheating in anyway they could. Thus, the image here before you.
Original Writer: Lewis Carroll Media: Ink and watercolor with a bit of gouache I believe. Completed by: Spring quarter 2009 Concept and creation by: J.S. Choi DO NOT USE!!
Thank you. Although I do not think I deserve such a wonderful compliment for this old piece-- It is kind of you. I tried to give the characters gestures that may project their personalities as well as looks when I had worked on the illustration. I adored Carroll's work when I was younger reading passages or short stories within the bigger tales at points. The writer was such a quirky and wonderful eccentric person based on the documents I read. As it is so, any interpretation of his work, should have quirks themselves. ^___^ Sorry for my chatty mind, it never seems to cease wondering, thinking, and expressing. This rant has gone more than it should. Perhaps, I am mad for it? :Cheshire grin: Lol.
Thanks! Glad you liked the details and color. Even now, I'm still not quite as pleased with the color. XP However, I loved every bit of the drawing and inking. ^^
